Did you guys know that in crests and emblems colours have meaning?

For instance, RBW's colours are gold, purple and black - and here are the meanings behind the colours (according to http://www.fleurdelis.com/meanings.htm)

gold: Generosity and elevation of the mind

purple: Royal majesty, sovereignty, and justice

black: Constancy or grief

interesting, hmmm?
