Utahnna Benedictat (Starfleet) Utahnna is an Orion/Vulcan hybrid. Her Father was an Orion Pirate/Crime Lord Scientist (Status: Deceased - KIA against a Federation Rescue Team, led by her Starfleet sponsor Adm Kellendra Benedictat), and her Mother was a Vulcan Priestess who was captured during an Orion raid on P'Jem. Her mother was tortured, and then subsequently assigned as a Pleasure Slave to Syndicate Slaver Captains. During that time, the Orions forced a inter-species genetic (cross)breeding upon her, and Utahnna was the resulting child. Her mother died of wounds sustained during her rescue from Orion captivity. Utahna was adopted by Adm Kellendra Benedictat, and entered Starfleet Academy upon age of Majority. Her dedication to Starfleet has been, and continues to be, exemplary. Personnel Annotation: Starfleet Personnel recommends avoiding assignment of missions involving this Officer and Orion Syndicate, to avoid any possible compromising situations. Even though Utahnna has little memory of the actual events surrounding her heritage, she harbors a hatred of the Orion Syndicate that borders on the fanatical.
