Named for the auspicious date upon which he - and he alone - was born, Ximix was fated from birth. At least that's what he was told. What quickly became clear is that Ximix was unable to settle for one fate. For months he could be found in the deep sept, consulting and learning - and sometimes debating - with the high holy ones. With no warning he would immerse himself in the tower of tomes and delve into the mysteries of the arcane. Nobody knew what his fate was, but it was quite clear he was not going to settle on one or the other calling. Perhaps the greatest blessing in his life is his ancestry. Being born of a people both devout and mystical is one thing, when those people live hundreds of years it gives them the perspective to not be in such a hurry. Ximix hurried all the same. He hurried back and forth, to and fro, but always back again. After more than seven decades of study Ximix set out into the World. Through adventure and making many strange acquaintances he gained his surname. Even with all of the experience and adventures Ximix could not settle - and thus he can be called upon to take up the mantle of priest or the mystic's trappings as need wonts.
