Short story long: Daevora was in the process of (slowly) pecking away at a Champion to get a chance at a Mysterious Remnant, while being guarded by Xifeng (who was too high level to proc the remnants). Xifeng summoned her hireling to cure herself and the hireling decided killing the Champion was more important.

This did not sit well with Xifeng to say the least...who decided an appropriate punishment would be to lead her hireling off into an active trap. Multiple times. With amusingly appropriate quotes from the hireling each time...
