This one was funny. My first visit to this area, I saw a sign and thought I'd go read it. There was a Treasure Hoarder standing right in front of the sign, so I had Zhongli put up a shield in preparation for fighting him. Activating the shield also produced a shockwave, which hit the big stone relic, which resonated with its own even bigger shockwave, which triggered a chain reaction of shockwaves that blew up everything in the vicinity...including the Treasure Hoarder.

After that I read the sign...
